A short biography.
Mellie is a Global HR Executive, GPHR certified, founder, and mom of four young adults who built seven platforms while leading a global organization and navigating perimenopause and being neurodivergent. She is a bilingual AfroLatina who spent two decades getting into rooms that were not built for her, fixing systems that were breaking people, and learning exactly how careers are made and derailed from the inside.
She built @mellietalks to give that information away. No gatekeeping. No coaching packages. No corporate filter. Just twenty years of insider access, real tools, and the cheat sheet she wishes someone had handed her.
She also teaches people how to build AI skills and use them in real life because the people who know how to use these tools will have an advantage the people who don't will not be able to close. She built her own AI-powered ecosystem to prove it.
She is a solo traveler, a lover of meaningful luxury, a woman navigating midlife with ADHD and unconventional instincts, and proof that the path nobody mapped out for you is often the one that takes you exactly where you were supposed to go. Most of what she has built is free. Because that was always the point.
She is based in Raleigh, NC.
